Computer Skills Computer skills for the future... We are a part of the 21st Century, and as such, computers are an ever important part of our personal and most of all, our professional life.As landmen, this is very important. We must utilize and enhance those things that are afforded us through the various existing programs and software packages, (Excel, Deed Plotters, etc.) Not only do we need to be fluent in their use and application, but also we need to have a sufficient amount of computer knowledge to create our own plats, charts, tables, graphs, reports, etc. Yes, we need to spend the additional time and effort to become knowledgeable in these areas to qualify as professional 21 Century land persons. We are THERE, and are ready to prove it to you by presenting some of our work to you! Most of the work we do now in the courthouses, railroad commission offices, and the corporate offices of our clients and employers are already computerized. We will need to be able to transmit our work on a regular basis to our employers and clients whose records are already designed for such. We are up to date and will not be left behind. Let us show YOU with experience, diligence, competence and willingness we ARE part of the 21st Century, and do not need to be dragged into it.
